Standing tall in a quiet by-lane in Worli, Mumbai, with sweeping sea views on one side and the city’s skyline on the other, this home is a perfect blend of style, comfort, and functionality.
Inspired by Art Deco and fused with contemporary design, the home reflects a marriage of geometry, materials, and colors. The location itself guided the narrative, with indoor-outdoor connections through the deck creating a sense of openness reminiscent of Manhattan’s cool grandeur. Tropical-print cushions from Jim Thompson Fabrics, candle clusters from Good Earth, and furnishings by Sarita Handa introduce natural warmth and break the monotony of solid surfaces.
The original layout was reimagined entirely: existing walls were removed, and concealed storage was integrated seamlessly into panels and cabinetry. High ceilings allowed for lofted storage, optimizing every inch of space while enhancing the home’s airy, expansive feel.
The result is a residence that balances sophistication, practicality, and personality—a space that is both inviting and meticulously curated for everyday living.
