Bhavi Mehta is an acclaimed interior designer and the visionary founder of InsideArt, established in 2003. Driven by a vision to merge artistry with intention, her work reflects her personal values of simplicity and a profound sense of belonging—qualities that resonate deeply in both her life and her creations. From her early days creating technical drawings for her developer father’s projects, which laid the foundation of her career, to being selected as a designer for the Marriott in Minsk and leading numerous upscale projects, Bhavi has continually scaled professional heights with grace and determination.

Known for her expertise in zoning, the art of arranging spaces to achieve harmony, functionality, and aesthetic balance, she designs interiors that are both intuitive and timeless. Her love of travel and history fuels her imagination, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures, architecture, and the stories spaces tell. Bhavi has made choices along the way—some bold, some exhilarating, and some that unfolded differently, but each has shaped the life and career she owns and embraces wholeheartedly. She is a devoted single mother to her son Vihaan, finding joy and grounding in her personal life while navigating the world with independence and authenticity. She was honored with Society Awards for Outstanding Contribution in Architecture and Interior Design in 2024. My foundation in real estate taught me structure, scale, and value, how spaces are measured and planned from the outside in, yet the true essence of design lies in seeing them from the inside out: understanding not just how spaces stand, but how they live. Travel and exposure to diverse cultures taught me to observe, to listen, and to notice the subtle details that bring a space to life: the way light falls, how textures interact, how spaces breathe.

Design begins with an attunement to these invisible layers, allowing spaces to respond to life rather than dictate it. Zoning is central to this philosophy, guiding the flow between energy and calm, movement and pause. Every corner, every passage, every shift in light has a purpose, and meticulous attention to detail ensures these moments are felt, not just seen. Minimalism guides the expression, but it is warmth, craftsmanship, and material poetry that imbue spaces with soul.
