The client wanted to renovate /expand his room by combining his existing room with the media room for an ultra spacious bedroom. The interiors had to confirm with the existing interiors of the house but at the same time have a unique identity.
For a client obsessed with materials of the highest finish and their self proclaimed love for everything wood, the room couldn’t have been in any other form but this. A touch of gold finish added a glean to the wood complimenting its white surrounding.
The entire room was around 900 sq.ft. plus an adjoining terrace of around 500 sq.ft. The challenge was to have a right mix of openness and coziness along with creating different spaces in the room like study, personalized picture and book corner, friends get together space and child’s play area and blending them all to provide a home within a home.
