This residence lies in an old building in one of the by lanes of the quaint Malabar hill. To meet the requirements of the family of 4, we had to completely breakopen the existing structure and completely re zone space, which led us into more customization of the boundary walls. The design taste of the young couple matched our design sensibilities and hence we delivered a home loved by all. The Grey Flurry spanning the flooring of the entire house gave continuity through spaces. The application of matt, earthy colours like brick red, burnt orange, mushroom on the walls and furniture pieces, dispersed warmth through the spaces. The bold use of prints on furnishings, broke the monotony of the solid colours and straight-lined furniture, hence giving character and pattern to the pieces. The sourcing of the entire loose furniture, artefacts and furnishings from China, not only enhanced our visualized space but also gave the right vibes to this home.
